Vegetarian Chow Mein Noodles (Modern Sri Lankan version) Loaded with Vege, perfect Vegan diet

In today’s video I show you
how to make vegetarian noodles, fully loaded with lots of veges. It’s filling and addictive!
Now let’s get started. Here are the ingredients you need: 2 cups of cabbage (chopped)
1 and a 1/2 cup of carrot (julienned) 1 and 1/2 tsp of plain chili powder
3 cloves of garlic (crushed) 1/3″ of ginger (crushed) 2 cups of cauliflower (cut into small pieces)
3 tbsp of soy sauce 2 tbsp of oil
1 cup of chopped onion 1 medium green pepper and
1 medium red pepper (both julienned) 1/2 a pack of Chow Mein Noodles (pre-cooked according to package instructions) 2 cubes of vegetable bouillon 4 stalks of scallion
(Separate the top, middle and bottom of scallion. This makes 1/3 cup of each part.
The top will be used for garnishing only and the rest for cooking) Use a large wok or pan
with the stove on medium heat. Add the oil and let the pan heat up. Now add the crushed garlic and ginger
then let it brown slightly. Then add the chopped onion
and cook for 3 minutes. Now we are going to add the veges,
starting with the red and green peppers. Let it cook for a few minutes. Now add the rest of the veges,
cabbage, carrots, cauliflower and mix well. And now the seasoning,
add the chili powder, soy sauce, 2 vegetable bouillon and mix well. Then cover the lid and
let it cook for 10 minutes, making sure
to stir occasionally. Now add the scallions,
both bottom and middle parts, mix well and let it cook for 2 more minutes. Finally we are ready to add the cooked noodles
and mix well. Cut the noodles because it’s easier to mix,
you can also do this before you add the noodles to the pan. Turn off the heat and continue to
mix the noodles and the vegetables well. Leave it on the stove for 10 more minutes
before it’s ready to serve. This Vegetable Chow Mein Noodles is
modified with Sri Lankan flavour. Loaded with tons of vegetables
and flavourful enough to forget that there is no meat! If you enjoyed this video,
