Vegetable Dalia Pulao recipe | Broken Wheat Pulao | Cracked Wheat Pualo

Welcome to Whenever you feel like eating something health and light then try making Dalia (porridge) pulao. It is very pleasing in taste as well is prepared instantly. Let’s see what all ingredients are required for making porridge pulao. Wheat porridge – 1 cup
(Easily available in market) Cabbage – ½ cup (finely chopped) Carrot – 1 (thinly sliced) Green coriander – 2 tbsp (finely chopped) Capsicum – 1 (sliced thinly) Tomato – 2 (chop finely before bringing in use) Green peas – ½ cup Desi ghee – 2 tbsp You can also use oil instead of ghee. Salt – 1 tsp (as per taste) Cumin seeds – ½ tsp Asafoetida – 1 pinch Green chilly – 2 (finely chopped) Ginger – 1 inch piece (finely chopped) For making porridge pulao, firstly cook porridge. Make plain porridge first and then make pulao. Roast the porridge.
Turn on the gas. Take ½ tsp ghee in pan. Now add porridge and stir constantly until it turns little brown in color. Roast the porridge on medium flame. Porridge is roasted well. Now we will make porridge in pressure cooker. Take porridge in cooker. Add 3 cup water for 1 cup porridge. Cook until it simmers’s once. Meanwhile cut tomatoes finely. Turn off the gas after one simmer and open the lid after all steam escapes. Porridge is ready now; but make pulao only when porridge comes to normal temperature. Now start making pulao. Take rest of the ghee in pan and place it on flame for heating. Add cumin seeds, asafoetida, peas, green chilly, ginger and Sauté for 1 minute. Also add carrots and sauté for 1 minute more. Add cabbage and capsicum and sauté for 1 minute. Add tomatoes, green coriander and salt as well. Cook for 2 minutes. Don’t over cook the vegetables keep them crunchy. Now add porridge and mix nicely.
