Vegan Sandwiches for Back to School + Work 2019


hi guys
it’s Danica and welcome to my channel today’s video is going to be vegan
sandwiches for back-to-school and work but before we get started I just want to

like this every single Monday now let’s go ahead and jump right into the video
the first sandwich that we’re gonna be making is this vegan BLT sandwich first
you want to start by making your barbecue tofu pan fry a small slice of
tofu in some olive oil for about 10 minutes and don’t forget to flip your
tofu half way to cook evenly next you want to add some barbecue sauce to your
tofu while it’s cooking so you can have that delicious barbecue flavor add the
sauce to both sides and let it cook for another two minutes in the meantime I’m
just cutting two slices of tomatoes to add to the sandwich and now you’re ready
to assemble everything to a piece of bread add your lettuce and your tomatoes
followed by the barbecue tofu that we just cooked then to the second piece of
bread you want to add just a bit of mayonnaise to it top your sandwich off
with this piece of bread and there you go you have a delicious barbecue
flavored BLT sandwich that I’m sure you’re going to love it is perfect for
your lunch for school or work and it has a lot of protein to keep you full next
up we have this buffalo chickpea salad sandwich for the veggies in my chickpea
salad I wanted to keep it really fresh and crunchy so I’m cutting some celery
some green peppers and also some red onions this end which is inspired by a
buffalo chicken sandwich but instead of chicken we’re going to be using some
chick peas you want to start off by mashing your chick peas with a potato
masher you could also use a fork but I think that it’s easier that way
when your chickpeas are pretty much all mashed up you can add 2 tbsp of vegan
Mayo to the chickpeas then I’m adding some buffalo sauce for that buffalo
chicken flavor fun fact to know buffalo sauce is actually accidentally vegan and
now I’m just adding the veggies that we prepared at the beginning in the salad
and that’s gonna add some extra crunch and deliciousness to the salad and now
it’s time to put your sandwich together to a piece of bread I’m just adding some
lettuce for some extra green and extra crunch and now I’m just adding the
chickpea salad to it I love the chickpea salad so I add a lot of it to my
sandwiches with this mixture I had enough to make four sandwiches so that’s
really good so depending if you want to add a lot of chickpea salad to your
sandwich you can have either four or five sandwiches that’s gonna last you
all week for your lunches for school next up we have this crispy vegan
chicken burgers to the airfryer I’m adding some vegan chicken you could also
fry it up in the pan but I think it’s so good in the airfryer so if you have one
I definitely recommend it next I’m just preparing the veggies for the burgers so
I like to add some red onions to my burgers so that’s just what I’m doing
right now I’m also cutting some slices of tomatoes because I think it is
delicious on a burger then I’m spreading some vegan mayonnaise
to some toasted buns and now you’re ready to assemble your burgers I’m just
adding some lettuce and then all of my veggies red onions and also tomatoes then you can add your vegan chicken I’m
using the garden vegan chicken I think it’s the best one and it makes for
delicious chicken burgers also if you have an airfryer I would really
recommend that you try these nuggets in the airfryer it changes the texture and
it makes them taste like fried chicken these burgers are so easy to make and
they make for a perfect lunch for school or work and you don’t even have to heat
them up they are really really good as a cold sandwich video if you did don’t
