♪ (music) ♪ Man: The Corn and Soybean Field Guide has been around for years It was first developed back in 1988 Since that time it has taken a lot of different changes and modifications within the book uh today what you will find is a lot of information tied to cropping practices and uh different pests and how to manage those um we look at fertilizer recommendations it’s in a nut shell for people to use in the field and to help with uh different strategies and uh reccomendations for farm owners and clients our clientele primarily are producers we have many certified crop advisors they’re the folks that do make recommendations to farmers and so then we use these guides to help make those recommendations uh we do sell many of our guides to seed agronomists, chemical companies that do a little production in Ag So there’s a lot of information in there that will help them make these decisions but primarily they go towards the growers to help them make day-to-day decisions The updates you can expect to see are different photos that we put in um that we might be missing a few key diagnostic characteristics on photos so we put those in we also change a few of the tables based on the research that we’re doing um you’ll see that there are some modifications let’s say uh fertilizer recommendations may adjust the poundage of something like fertilizer the thing that sets us apart from the other field guides out there um I believe are a lot of the graphics, we have very high quality graphics in our guide we also have a very large package of information that cover corn/soybean production or we focus on growth and developement we also focus on the pests and insects diseased weeds The cost of our book uh that we have today is very competitive with the other books and other publications out there in the market Pretty much if you are dealing with Ag production you want this guide ♪ (music) ♪
